This is a cautionary tale: I first had my first eyeglass made in the area sometime 2010 or 2011 since first time to wear glasses I experienced yung bakit malabo, I usually use them for PC, cellphone and reading.. I was told magaadjust pa yung eyes mo. From that time till 2014, I may have had changed the first pair to another one on the same shop this time buying a backup pair. At time sumasakit ulo ko just thinking pagod na siguro or what. Around 2015-2016, I accompanied a friend to get her pair, I also updated my eyeglass and as usual bought spares. In 2019, a friend decided to check out Paterno for glasses she got hers and I updated mine, few days later she was complaining na sumasakit ulo nya. She then decided to go to the nearby mall and have her eyes checked. SURPRISE ang layo ng grade that she got from Paterno vs the one at the mall. Nagpagawa sya sa mall ng lens and was happy with the results. She also found out thru her friends that 'SABLAY' mag sukat mga tao dyan and better mag pasukat sa iba at dalhin ang readings dyan.. I also went to a nearby mall to have my eyes rechecked. Despite me telling the Dra (Dra nga ba?) that I use my glasses for PC and reading ang sukat nya eh for reading only. Even after I got it and tested she was forcing me to test it at readin level. The optical shop at the mall told me na tama naman yun grado for reading. I asked them pwede ba reading and for PC to which they said oo naman. I used the lens from the mall till 2023 Aug untill I broke it and was forced to go to one of the branches of the optical shop that did a good job with the lens. Luckily I still had a pair of frames from the 2019 trip to paterno, the shop installed the lens and was happy about it. About a week ago the arm of the eyeglass broke off and I decided to get glasses in paterno. Went there yesterday, picked up a frame and told the saleslady to use the grade 200 and 250 even showing her a photo on my phone dun s print out ng mall shop. She kept insisting mag p checkup since nagbabago raw (last year lang yun) at libre naman. So Doctor (totoo nga ba) did the tests, told him I USE IT FOR PC AND reading, hindi raw pwede and I have to choose one, (eh bakit nagawa ni mall shop?). He asked ano ba distance ng monitor ko? I said my arm length. To which he reacted and said ang layo n nyan. My arm length is 26 inches actual distance to monitor is 22 inches. Using the eyeglass I got from them ( I got 2 made and 1 extra frame amounting to 6300) ang labo you cant see anything. Even before I got home and passed by a resto to eat, I cant even read the menu. WTF!!!!!... At home, as I wore the eyeglasses from them I looked at an aerosol can from my PC table, and I could read the wordings.. The DISTANCE IS 55 inches!!!!!. Kelan naging PC monitor distance and 55 inches.. TRUELY there is somethin wrong with how those people measure your eye grade.. I cant even read a MENU at reading distance.. My MISTAKE is forgetting that I have brought my eyeglass sukat from the mall from 2023.. CONSISTENT SILA SA PALPAK AT SABLAY NA SUKAT, not only from my experience but from the experience of my friend in 2019 and stories from her own friends... If you are happy with their service then good for you. However. I am throwing a question na sigurado k ba na tama ang sukat nila sayo? Me, am satisfied with the FRAME prices I get from that area., however NEVER AKO MAGPAPAGAWA ULIT NG LENS DYAN, AT NEVER WILL I SUGGGEST IT TO OTHERS ALSO... If you know your grade or meron kang test results from somewhere else MAYBE JUST MAYBE baka they MIGHT GET IT RIGHT... HUWAG PAPADALA SA PATEST K NA LIBRE NAMAN EK EK NILA
